Spent the day in Sefton Park today, another scorcher. I sat under the shade of the trees in what was once part of the ancient Toxteth Deerpark. It was eventually opened as the park we know in May 1872 by Prince Arthur...no I'd never heard the name before either. Quiet a few people trekked up the hill to chat and take a look at what I was painting and one gentleman even asked, 'what you doin?'
